Getting There

The nearest airports for Volterra are Pisa and Florence. Pisa airport is one hour's drive away and Florence airport is 2 hours away. Although there is still a good rural bus service there is no train station and a rental car is needed for a holiday in the Loggia. Volterra makes a good centre for day trips to Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. The Loggia is less than 5 minutes drive from Volterra – 40 minutes walk.

We are both English and have lived here for 18 years. We make olive oil and our own wine and grow vegetables. We both speak Italian, know the area well and are happy to help with any questions you may have.

When you decide to rent we'll send the keys, maps and detailed instructions on how to get there to you before your departure.
