Situated on the side of a valley with views up to the town on the skyline and to distant fields beyond the olive groves, the valley, cultivated since ancient Etruscan times, is quiet and unspoiled with land that has never had herbicides or pesticides on it and which was still farmed in the old ways when the current owners bought it in 1989. A very fine olive oil is produced from 150 ancient trees and red and white wine for home consumption is made on the farm every autumn.
