Location

Podere La Vigna is less than 5 minutes drive from Volterra (40 minutes walk) and within easy daytrip reach of the following Italian cities:

Pisa - one hour (International Airport)
Lucca - two hours
Volterra - five minutes

San Gimignano - thirty minutes
Florence - one and a half hours (International Airport)
Siena - one hour

There also are many small towns and villages in this area which are fun to explore and there are good beaches an hour away. The scenery in this part of Tuscany is superb with fine wild flowers and birds (golden orioles nest by our stream) and in our valley you may see wild boar, porcupines, deer, fox and badger.
